After more than 20 years of senior executive experience, including President and CEO roles at top hospitality brands, Mary ventured out from the corporate environment to open J. Robinson Group. She’s poured her expertise and herself into providing clients with executive-level strategies, solutions, and the results they deserve.

Mary K. Mahoney is principal and managing partner of J. Robinson Group, a business consultancy that leads its clients from vision and strategy through the execution of complex business challenges involving business strategy, brand management, image enhancement, marketing, marketing technology product development, pricing and market research.
Robinson Group’s current clients include UF Health Cancer Center – Orlando Health, Orlando Health, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. The company’s professionals are dedicated to delivering measurable outcomes that result in increased profitability, quality growth and operational excellence.
A dynamic, results-oriented executive, Mahoney is recognized as a respected, innovative leader with deep experience across multiple industries, including health care. She frequently blogs on a variety of health-care issues, including HIPAA, Alzheimer’s care, transparent pricing, mobile health and cancer research and care.
During her more than 20 years in senior executive roles, Mahoney has established strong corporate and board relationships and delivered consistent, high-quality services and products.
Before establishing J. Robinson Group, Mahoney was president, chief executive officer and general manager of RCI North America. Prior to that, she served Wyndham Worldwide, RCI’s parent company, as executive vice president of hospitality and resort operations and president and chief executive officer of its Howard Johnson brand.
Mahoney began her career with the Days Inn brand. Following high school and college, she was recruited by Days Inns of America Inc. and relocated to Atlanta, where she helped the young franchise company expand and earn recognition as one of the fastest growing franchise brands in America. She then joined parent company Cendant Corporation as director of market development.
She was named one of The Top 75 Executives in Hospitality by Lodging magazine, One of the Most Powerful Women in Travel by Travel Agent magazine and one of the Next Generation of Hot New Marketers by Brandweek.
Mahoney was recognized by President George H.W. Bush and Secretary of State Colin Powell for her work in corporate philanthropy and contributions to expanding youth mentoring programs supported by the America’s Promise initiative. She supports Women Playing For T.I.M.E., a volunteer group that raises funds to defeat cancer.
