Demonstrating visionary and effective leadership, Mary has successfully increased profitability, developed quality growth and built operational excellence.

A native of Orlando, Florida, Mary began her career at the age of fourteen as a Sea Maid at SeaWorld. At this time, Orlando was enjoying accelerated economic growth, quickly becoming known worldwide as The Vacation Capital of the World.  Following high school and college, Mary was recruited by Days Inns of America, Inc. and relocated to Atlanta, where she helped the young franchise company expand and earn recognition as one of the fastest growing franchise brands in America.

Mary's career in brand management and franchising flourished. She was named one of "The Top 75 Executives in Hospitality" by Lodging, and as "One of the Most Powerful Women in Travel," by Travel Agent, as well as one of the "Next Generation of Hot New Marketers" by Brandweek. In a ceremony at the White House, Mary was recognized by President George H. W. Bush and Secretary of State Colin Powell for her work in corporate philanthropy. The recognition was for her contributions to expand youth mentoring programs supported by the America's Promise initiative.

Mary and her husband John, reside in Orlando with their two boxer pups, Jasper and Maggie Mae. In their spare time, they enjoy travel, golf, cooking and relaxing with friends. Mary actively volunteers in her community and is a strong supporter of Women Playing For T.I.M.E., a volunteer group that raises funds to defeat cancer as it affects women and their families in the community.
